Only in America could a
little tyke like this
grow up to have his own
town in Cyberspace.
But with the joy of having
your own community comes
responsibility.
Someone has
to function as the Mayor,
the Department Heads, the
Historian, the Chief Cook and
Bottle Washer.
And when the roads and sidewalks
get slippery...who ya gonna call?
The Street Commissioner, of course.
No...having your own town
takes alot of committment
and hard work.
Unfortunately, it seems that my evil twin is always too busy to participate, which places the burden of running the town on me. But I welcome the challenge!
Plus, there are advantages to this arrangement. There is only one person involved in the planning. This can be good since there are fewer arguements between department heads, city council meetings run more efficiently, and communications usually are more free-flowing.
Additionally, it is a cost-effective system since fax messages, phone calls, and transportation costs for conferences between the department heads are held to a minimum.
Yes, the American dream of ownership is alive and well in Emilville and I invite each of you to participate in it. I welcome you to my site and hope that you enjoy your visit.
