Welcome to my Home Page! For all of you who came surfing by hoping to learn All About Email, what can I say...it's Emil...not Email!!
My name is Emil Baldwin, Jr. and I'm the Emil in question. What you find here will undoubtedly change depending on my mood, interests, time, and whether or not I am ever able to figure out HTML. I am a retired social worker with almost 20 years experience working with foster parents. So...some of the "stuff" you will see here will undoubtedly concern that. I like to write short stories (my attention span/skill level won't allow anything longer), create silly (dare I say witty?) signs, and do other desktop publishing kind of things. Music, quotations, sci-fi, etc., etc., and so on, particularly the "and so on" are all part of who I am.
But throughout it all...I promise...on my honor...not to take life too seriously, for life itself IS serious, and always requires our full participation...whether we're ready for it or not.
O.K....With all that said, I feel like I have to print a disclaimer just in case the more literal of you decide that I'm straying too far from my vow. "Not to take life seriously" doesn't mean that I won't ever raise serious subjects or write about them. Sometimes...it just has to be said. But...I will try to stay focused. And besides, if I do stray too far from "THE VOW "...I can always blame my evil twin, Anton. He has always been there when I have needed him most...what a guy!. The staff here (that would be me) doesn't totally agree with the modern notion of "You can't get there from here". We believe that when people are given the right resources/information they can indeed get from Point A to Point B with great success. So...it is with that thought in mind, that we give you links to help you navigate around "Emilville". Almost all of the articles and pictures you see and read in this small town are original creations done by yours truly. I also did many of the graphics with the aid of a ton of clipart and software such as Gif Construction Set, Corel Draw, and others. Additionally, there are some animations that were downloaded from other websites through the generosity of their creators (See Legal Stuff).
So...click on the button at the bottom of the page to look at the list of Emilville Sites and their descriptions or the other stuff button to see...other stuff. You will also find hyperlinks on the other pages to allow you to hop, skip, or jump to your heart's desire within Emilville or outside the boundaries to...The Great Beyond.
